I got quite a surprise upon opening the box: the potato-like part of the rhizome isn’t there! Instead we have a little stub of rhizome with lots of new roots and big above-ground leaves. The supplier was very nice on the phone, instructing me to put them all together in potting soil in the sunshine, keep it damp but not soggy. Fingers crossed!
To protect the EPDM, Charlie is not so much confined to quarters as exiled to the top roof. Which is really not so bad.
